(1) MANAGEMENT OWNERS

Rifugi Monterosa - MBG srl deals with the booking service for the structures listed below.

(2) YOUR CONTRACT WITH RIFUGI MONTEROSA - MBG SRL

When you book in our huts, a binding contract will only come into existence when we will send you a written confirmation of your booking by e-mail.

The date of the contract is the date that appears on the written confirmation.
Please check your confirmation to make sure it corresponds to your request.

The contract is made of the conditions listed below and all the relevant information about the available facilities that can be found in our website www.rifugimonterosa.it and all that is stated on the written confirmation that has been sent to you.

• With the booking confirmation sent by e-mail, the respective MANAGERS undertake to provide the seats and services booked and the customer undertakes to pay the amount due.
• In case of cancellation, the cancellation costs will be charged (see details).
• If the booking is made in the name of 2 or more people, whoever makes the booking and accepts the contract is responsible for paying the entire group.
• The booking confirmation will be sent to the person in charge of the reservation, who is responsible to keep informed all the members of the party.

(3) PRICES

All prices are in EURO and must be consider per person per day.

Our prices are published on our website www.rifugimonterosa.it and they may change during the year. Once you have booked, the price is fully guaranteed and will not be subject to any surcharge.

What is included and what is not is reported on your booking confirmation and it is specified in the relevant page on the site www.rifugimonterosa.it on the page of the booked accommodation.

(4) PAYMENTS

Payment of the bed places that you have booked is required as stated below:

• When booking you will be require to pay a deposit by credit card.
• You will pay the balance in the hut while checking in: you will be charged for all the nights and all the people you have actually booked for.

ONCE YOU HAVE PAID THE BALANCE, IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO BE REFUNDED FOR NO REASON.

• The balance for Gnifetti + Margherita reservations will be requested at Gnifetti hut.
   

IF CAPANNA MARGHERITA WILL NOT BE REACHED DUE TO MOUNTAIN SICKNESS, LACK OF TRAINING OR FOR OTHER SUBJECTIVE CAUSES OF ONE OR MORE MEMBER OF THE GROUP, THE PAID FEE WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.

THE IMPOSSIBILITY TO REACH CAPANNA MARGHERITA DUE TO BAD WEATHER OR DANGER WILL BE ASSESSED ON THE SAME DAY. UPON REQUEST BY EMAIL ONLY IF OBJECTIVE CAUSES ARE FOUND DANGER OR BAD WEATHER, CONDITIONS SET OUT ON FIRST CASE OF POINT OF ARTICLE (6) WILL BE APPLIED.

(5) MODIFICATIONS

Up to 72 hours before the arrival date, it is possible to change the booking date according to the availability of the hut. However, it is not possible to use the deposit paid in a hut other than the one initially booked.
You can only move your reservation to a date in the current year. 

Up to 48 hours before the arrival date, it is possible to change, in written form by email, ONLY the number of people booked without penalties.

The deposit relating to the  cancelled people from the reservation will not be returned but it can be used by the remaining participants as a deposit to be deducted from the final bill in the hut.

(6) CANCELLATION

If you wish to cancel a confirmed booking, this must be done from the person who has made the reservation, who will have to write an e-mail or sms.

The cancellation will be effective from the date you will receive our written communication.

Cancellation charge applies as stated below:

• Up to 72 hours before the date of your arrival we will return the deposit keeping 25,00 € for booking expenses. EXAMPLE I have a reservation for January 16th. To get my deposit back minus expenses (€25.00) I have to cancel by 6 pm on January 12th.
• If you do not cancel within the terms (72 hours before the date of your arrival) or in case of NO SHOW we do not refund the deposit.
• Agencies and Mountaineering Schools: see contractual agreements established with each individual institution.

(7) COMPLAINTS POLICY

In case of inefficiencies during the booking phase or during your stay, please contact our staff who will immediately resolve the problem where possible. If this problem cannot be solved amicably, you can lodge a complaint for deficiencies in the execution of the contract by registered letter with return receipt or certified e-mail to the address of the MANAGER of the structure concerned, no later than 10 working days from the expected return date.

(8) ASSUMPTION RESPONSABILITY

At the time of booking, the person making the reservation assumes responsibility for their own behavior and that of the people for whom they have booked.

If one of the members of the booked group is responsible for damage to the structures, the booking manager assumes the responsibilities of the case and releases the MANAGERS from any claims (including legal costs) of the OWNERS of the structures:
